Use of blogs
Blogs are a great way to communicate with others. Blogs are easy to use and convenient. Administrators can communicate with each other through the use of blogs. Many people can follow the blog and comment on postings. It's a wonderful source of communication without the need of face to face contact.

I agree with you about preferably not having face to face contact. Actually, I am a very shy person. Also, sometimes administrators and teachers are so busy in conferences and meetings; blogs work as a medium to communicate issues in a very relax and friendly way.
